Popular Nigerian chef Hilda Buci has surpassed Indian Chef Lata Tondon’s previous record for the longest cooking period, which she held for 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds. Amazingly, she was still cooking at the time this report was written even though she had been cooking for 87 hours and 50 minutes.
Nigerians are still crowded around the famed cook as she goes about her business. People shouting in support of her were captured on her live video. The fact that many Nigerians from all walks of life have gathered at her cooking station over the past four days has served to bring Nigerians together.
