"It's time for me to move on because fans are not treating me fairly after all the suffering I've had and Arteta's unfair treatment of me."- An outcast from Arsenal In a farewell interview, Aaron Ramsdale declared he was prepared to leave Arsenal this summer.

There are rumors circulating that Aaron Ramsdale may be thinking about leaving Arsenal when the summer transfer window opens. The 25-year-old goalkeeper, who joined the Emirates Stadium from Sheffield United in the summer of 2021 during Mikel Arteta’s tenure, for a hefty £30 million plus add-ons, is rumored to be targeting a new footballing journey.

Ramsdale quickly established himself as Arsenal’s starting goalkeeper, displaying his skills in all 38 Premier League games as the Gunners challenged Manchester City for the English championship. Since joining Arsenal from Bramall Lane at the start of the 2021–2022 season, the English goalkeeper has made an impact on 88 games in a variety of competitions.

But based on information obtained by Football Insider, Ramsdale is supposedly at a turning point in his career and has decided what to do after this season. Given his limited opportunities in the current campaign, the report suggests that the England international has intentions to leave the North London club in search of more playing time.
Ramsdale reportedly sees the impending summer transfer window as the ideal time to investigate new challenges elsewhere, with an eye toward securing consistent first-team action at the highest levels of the sport. Amidst these developments, it’s reported that a number of Premier League teams and European clubs are keeping a close eye on the goalkeeper’s circumstances and are getting ready to formally express their interest with firm bids when the transfer window opens.

After David Raya was signed on loan from Brentford last summer, Ramsdale’s role in goal has changed, and the former Sheffield United player is now playing a supporting role. Ramsdale has only received five starting opportunities in the Premier League this season, despite recording two clean sheets.

In the FA Cup third round matchup with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, he made his most recent appearance for Arsenal; the North London team lost 2-0. Interestingly, Ramsdale hasn’t played in the Premier League since November 25, when Arsenal defeated Raya’s parent team Brentford 1-0.
