Leandro Trossard’s performance in Arsenal’s 6-0 victory over West Ham at the London Stadium on Sunday has been evaluated by Chris Sutton.

The team led by Mikel Arteta won handily in the Premier League title contest. Fearing they wouldn’t have a deadly goal scorer, Arsenal proved a point against the Hammers with a ruthless display of play.

Among those who scored against the Irons was Leandro Trossard. After Kai Havertz was given a similar role against Liverpool in their previous match, the Belgian was selected to lead the line.

After Arsenal’s victory, Chris Sutton gives Leandro Trossard some love.

Trossard wasted a good chance at the beginning. Just before halftime, though, he atoned for his mistakes with a magnificent finish into the top corner. His movement appears to be a major source of trouble for West Ham’s lackluster defense.

Additionally, Chris Sutton praised Mikel Arteta for starting the £27 million forward and expressed his amazement with his performance in an interview with The Monday Night Club.

“Trossard played a fantastic game. It’s incredible how Arteta reads Trossard as a false nine or a nine and plays him accordingly. He said, “They just blew West Ham away.”

Pound for pound, Trossard is one of the smartest purchases made by Arsenal thus far. He is one of their best players.

He didn’t come from Brighton with much hoopla when he arrived in the January 2023 transfer window, but he has been outstanding for the Gunners. Even though Trossard hasn’t had many steady positions, his adaptability has been exceptional, allowing him to contribute wherever throughout the forward line. When Gabriel Jesus returns to fitness, Arteta will have to make a difficult decision about reintroducing the Brazilian, if his recent performances are any indication of his future performance.
