Brazilian legend in football Ronaldo has revealed his prediction for the FA Cup this year, ruling Chelsea out of the running.

Chelsea was put in a difficult situation once more as they needed two late goals to defeat Championship team Leicester City 4-2 in the FA Cup.

Despite having a commanding 2-0 lead at the break, Leicester mounted an unexpected comeback in the second half of the match.

Chelsea experienced both highs and lows in the game; Marc Cucurella gave the Blues the lead after just 13 minutes.

Despite helping Cole Palmer score, Sterling’s performance was questioned because he had a rough afternoon. The crowd was disappointed by his missed free kick, which brought attention to the pressure he was under on the field.

Early in the second half, Axel Disasi’s chaotic own goal and Stephy Mavididi’s incredible long-range goal allowed Leicester City to draw even.

The game changed dramatically when Chelsea’s Callum Doyle was shown a red card, giving them the upper hand.

Chelsea made the most of their numerical advantage as they won and advanced to the Wembley semi-finals thanks to goals from Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke in extra time.

Chelsea’s defensive weaknesses are still a concern despite the victory because they have given up two goals in each of their last four games.

It will be difficult for Mauricio Pochettino to strike a balance between the team’s attacking ability and defensive steadiness, particularly when playing elite opponents.

The selection of full-back lineups is also questioned; Malo Gusto is a mainstay on the right side. Chelsea’s full-backs are attack-oriented, but this makes them vulnerable defensively, especially in wide areas.

During the press conference, Pochettino defended his tactical choices, stressing his focus on team analysis and strategy and claiming he is not influenced by outside pressure.

His tactical sense was evident as his substitutions were crucial in ensuring the win.

Pochettino admits that more hiring is necessary in the future to bolster the team.

Notwithstanding the difficulties, making it to the semi-finals twice in his first season is encouraging for Chelsea, and an FA Cup victory would boost his stature and win back the supporters’ trust.

Chelsea’s victory over Leicester City demonstrates both their ability to score goals offensively and their weaknesses on defense. The team’s performance and Pochettino’s tactical choices highlight the team’s continuous struggles and room for development as they aim for

multiple fronts of victory.
