Sheikh Mansour outlines Manchester City's plans for 2023–24 in a meeting with Pep Guardiola and how much to send in this summer transfer window.

After their treble-winning season, Sheikh Mansour is dedicated to enhancing Manchester City.

Sheikh Mansour, the owner of City, was present for his team’s historic victory over Inter Milan in the Champions League final at the weekend. This was only his second-ever City game. By winning the league, FA Cup, and European Cup all in the same season, City has accomplished the treble, something that only Manchester United has previously done in England.

Pep Guardiola has traveled to Abu Dhabi with the three trophies in the days following the final in Istanbul. He was in Manchester on Monday to take in the club’s treble procession through a soggy city center.

Sheikh Mansour addressed City’s accomplishments in 2022/23, their goals for the upcoming season, and how to “strengthen” City’s position on a worldwide scale with chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak, CEO Ferran Soriano, and Sporting Director Txiki Begiristain.

A tweet from Sheikh Mansour’s official Twitter account read: “Mansour bin Zayed receives Manchester City management and technical director Pep Guardiola and assures them that the team’s achievements embody the club’s strategy.

“His Highness reviews with them the club’s march, future plans and strategies in the sports and investment fields, and plans for the next season 2023/2024 to ensure strengthening the club’s position locally, Europeanly and globally.”

Abu Dhabi outlet Wam also reported that City’s treble “opens wide horizons for winning more championships, and constitute an incentive to continue the distinguished sports career at a confident pace towards more achievements.”

Guardiola is reported as saying that City’s titles represent a ‘response to the favour’ of Sheikh Mansour, insisting that he will continue to insist that City win cups and championships.
