Given Arsenal’s diminished roster, the victory was even more noteworthy and demonstrated the strength and tenacity of Mikel Arteta’s team. Even though he was sidelined, Declan Rice continued to support the team on social media by posting messages of love.

In a press conference following the game, he commended the team’s tenacity, pointing out how Arsenal overcame the difficulties caused by their injuries to still produce a winning performance.
