“I will not sit down, fold my hands and watch Arsenal sign Him this January,If Arteta finally gets Him that means we’re on the same level already and I won’t allow that to happen” , Pep Guardiola vows to block Arsenal’s move for the £110 million monster by January.

Even though Arsenal signed players like Mikel Merino, Riccardo Calafiori, and David Raya to permanent contracts this summer, the club’s spending was largely offset by significant departures. Three fan favorites, Emile Smith Rowe, Aaron Ramsdale, and Eddie Nketiah, were among the departing players who were homegrown stars.

Notwithstanding these difficult choices, Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, and Edu, the technical director, made strategic cuts to the team’s roster in order to bolster it for a more intense matchup with Manchester City. Securing Raheem Sterling on deadline day was one of their late transfer window highlights. The only criticism the team could receive, though, is for not signing a new striker.

Since Kai Havertz is playing so well right now, a new starting striker is not as necessary. However, there are still questions about Gabriel Jesus, mostly because of his history of injuries, which has kept him from being Havertz’s ideal front-runner.

Benjamin Sesko, a youthful striker, had expressed interest in joining Arsenal in the summer, but he decided to stay with his present team. Alexander Isak of Newcastle United was another well-known player on Arsenal’s radar. Arsenal reportedly enquired about Isak but soon gave up because the Swedish striker was estimated to be worth £120 million, which was out of their summer budget.

Insiders, however, indicate that Isak is still Arteta’s long-term goal. *Team News and Ticks*, an Arsenal-focused source, claims that Arteta is still planning to pursue Isak in the future.

Isak is “very, very high” on Arsenal’s list for next summer, according to a podcast. The source made a suggestion that Isak might consider moving if Newcastle is unable to advance to the European tournament.

Some have even made the analogy between Isak and the legendary Thierry Henry of Arsenal, highlighting Isak’s standout performances for Newcastle in the latter part of the previous campaign. It’s interesting to note that Eddie Nketiah’s move to Crystal Palace has left Henry’s legendary number 14 shirt empty at Arsenal. Isak might be the special player the club is waiting for with that number.

Although Isak has experienced some health problems in the past, his talent is undeniable. Should Arsenal manage to acquire him, combining him with Havertz would provide the team with an even more potent offensive that could propel Arsenal to yet another Premier League triumph.
