BARCELONA AMONG TOP CLUBS INTERESTED IN ARSENAL STAR NEXT SUMMER

According to reports, one of the top clubs interested in the amazing Arsenal star for next summer is the Spanish powerhouse Barcelona.

As his contract approaches its final year, five clubs are showing interest in signing the 31-year-old Ghanaian midfielder, Thomas Partey, making his future at Arsenal increasingly uncertain. Partey is an important member of the Gunners, but given his recent history of injuries and Arsenal’s improved midfield options, it seems likely that he will be leaving the team in the summer.

Since joining Arsenal in 2020, Partey has been a standout performer, but his time at the Emirates has been hampered by injuries. It is astounding how many games he has missed since the 2021–2022 season. He only managed nine Premier League starts in the previous season. Partey is still in Mikel Arteta’s plans for the current season, though, having started all three of Arsenal’s league games this year and scoring against Aston Villa.

Mikel Merino, who Arsenal acquired from Real Sociedad in the summer, has increased competition in the midfield. Partey may see less playing time as the season goes on, especially with the demands of European fixtures, as Merino competes for a consistent starting position.

Partey’s contract is scheduled to expire at the end of the current campaign, and it is becoming more and more probable that he will sign a free transfer. Numerous teams, including Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, and the Saudi Arabian teams Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli, are reportedly keeping an eye on his situation.

Due to budgetary restrictions, Barcelona is anticipated to be involved in the free agent market the following summer and has been connected to Partey.

Partey’s former team, Atletico Madrid, where he played for three seasons and won three major titles, is also interested in reuniting with him. The Saudi Arabian teams Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli are also monitoring the midfield player in the interim.

The favorites seem to be Juventus, who were heavily linked to Partey during the summer transfer window. According to reports, the midfield player is ready to accept a three-year contract from the Italian powerhouses, which could be an alluring offer at this point in his career.

Partey isn’t letting the rumors about his future take him away from Arsenal’s current campaign. Earlier this year, Partey stated, “My head is always here.” This is my preferred playing area. I always have a great time when I’m on the field.
