When the fifteen-year-old midfielder made his Premier League debut for the Gunners against Brentford in September 2022, he made a statement about his inclusion in the senior team.

That contract offer could be much longer once the child turns eighteen; the report suggests that a five-year deal is in the works.

It demonstrates the level of faith Mikel Arteta and his team seem to have in Nwaneri’s potential, which he will need to fulfill with his opportunities in the upcoming months and years.

Arsenal agree transfer exit

During the summer transfer window, the Arsenal team oversaw a number of transactions that will influence Arteta’s options for the upcoming season.

Emile Smith Rowe, an academy product, left the Gunners earlier this season to join Fulham, and other players appear certain to follow soon after.

The next player to leave the Emirates Stadium, according to Fabrizio Romano, will be young full-back Brooke Norton-Cuffy.

The 20-year-old will be joining Genoa of Italy after serving four consecutive loan stints.

Norton-Cuffy joined Lincoln City of League One in 2021–2022, and during that time, he made 17 appearances for the team.

Over three Championship stints, the Hale End star went from being a highly promising young player to a fully fledged senior player, playing for Millwall, Rotherham, and Coventry.

But it appears that Norton-Cuffy will have to continue his career outside of North London because getting onto the first team will not be easy.

Fans give verdict on Thomas Partey’s Arsenal future

The midfield of Arsenal has been the subject of numerous conversations, including some that have focused on possible arrivals and departures.

In terms of acquisitions, Mikel Merino of Real Sociedad has been strongly connected to a summer transfer to Arsenal.

These talks take place as Jorginho and Thomas Partey, who are both in their last year of contracts with Arsenal, present an uncertain future for the Gunners.

Both of them have passed their prime professional years, which means this summer will bring some significant choices.

These decisions may be determined by performances this season, with Partey standing out in especially during the preseason.

When he played in the summer’s last friendly against Olympique Lyon, the 31-year-old displayed some of his best qualities.

As a result, many Arsenal supporters have weighed in on the midfield player.
