ARSENAL SIGN ANOTHER ‘IMPRESSIVE’ MAN FROM MANCHESTER CITY

Arsenal has been looking to upgrade and improve more than just their playing roster this summer in an effort to increase their chances of winning the title the following season.

The North London team has now strengthened their backroom staff in addition to having already completed the signings of David Raya, Lucas Nygaard, and Tommy Setford. Riccardo Calafiori’s arrival appears to be imminent.

Arsenal has convinced Darren Rogerson, an elite development squad analyst for Manchester City, to leave his current team and join his current title rivals in North London, according to reputable news source The Athletic.

Prior to joining Pep Guardiola’s team, Rogerson held positions with a number of UK-based teams, such as Derby County, Rangers, and Sheffield United.

After working at the academy during his first year, the analyst moved to Manchester three years ago. After that, he worked as an Under-18 performance analyst before moving on to work with the elite development squad, which is the team below the first team.

Rogerson has established a stellar reputation for himself at The Cityzen’s, and cultivating relationships with players is regarded as one of his strongest suit.

In the early months of the Premier League season, the seasoned professional is expected to start working in North London as Arsenal looks to win the coveted league title at The Emirates in May 2025.

Many of Manchester City’s players have been plucked by Arsenal in recent years; in 2022, the dynamic duo Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus moved south to North London.

In addition, a few months earlier that year, Arsenal welcomed Ben Chadwick off the field. When Rogerson joins the team, Chadwick will collaborate with him in his capacity as head of analysis. Prior to his departure, Rogerson held the same position with the Manchester club’s Under-23 team.
