Eddie Nketiah, Emile Smith Rowe, and Reiss Nelson are three academy graduates that Arsenal may sell for a combined total of over £100 million, which would greatly increase the club’s transfer budget. These deals are presently being considered by Technical Director Edu Gaspar.
Eddie Nketiah
Eddie Nketiah, a striker, is the subject of the most attention among these possible deals. Nketiah has battled for playing time despite his athletic ability and clinical finishing ability, slipping behind Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz in the hierarchy.
Marseille is showing a lot of interest in the 24-year-old forward, who attended the Arsenal academy. He is viewed by the French team as a vital player who can succeed in Ligue 1 and get the playing time he wants. Nketiah could fetch between £40 and £50 million from Arsenal, so the Gunners are getting a good deal.
Emile Smith Rowe
Another highly prized player who could bring in a sizable transfer fee for Arsenal is midfielder Emile Smith Rowe.
Numerous Premier League teams have been keeping an eye on the Hale End graduate; Fulham has already had a bid of £25 million plus £5 million in add-ons turned down. Crystal Palace is also eager to sign the gifted midfield player.
Although Smith Rowe is part of manager Mikel Arteta’s plans, the Gunners could be persuaded to sell by a higher offer from Fulham or Palace. Should the deal go through, Arsenal might end up with nearly £40 million.
Reiss Nelson
And finally, there may soon be a move for the winger Reiss Nelson. Nelson is looking for more consistent playing time, which has been difficult to come by under Arteta, despite having inked a new five-year contract last summer.
West Ham reportedly expressed interest and had a £15 million initial bid rejected along with add-ons. But the Hammers could land Nelson with a better offer of about £25 million, giving Arsenal more money to bolster their roster in advance of the new campaign.
The total revenue from these deals, should Arsenal choose to cash in on these players, could surpass £100 million.
This financial boost would ensure that the Gunners have all they need to finally overthrow Manchester City, in addition to helping to balance the books and providing
the funds needed for additional reinforcements.
