Chelsea is aiming to win the race to sign RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko in an attempt to steal another of Arsenal’s high-profile signings.

The 21-year-old has been strongly linked to leaving the Bundesliga this summer, and his numerous suitors have not lost interest in him despite his recent increase in price to £55 million.

The Slovenian star is definitely headed for a move to the Premier League, and Manchester United and Newcastle are keeping a close eye on him. Arsenal, who have been regarded as the front-runners in the race, is likewise desperate to sign the former Stuttgart star.

But Chelsea could deal a serious blow to the Gunners by undermining their attempt to sign Sesko, much like they did when they beat out their London rivals for Mykhaylo Mudryk and signed the Ukraine international.

GiveMeSport claims that the Blues have identified Sesko as one of their possible striker targets for this summer and are “seriously” interested in the forward. Additionally, Paris Saint-Germain is considering if the forward is a good fit to take Kylian Mbappe’s place.

Top prospects across Europe are drawn to the Emirates Stadium’s inviting atmosphere, so Arsenal will be hoping that Sesko finds their offer to join their constantly improving project compelling.

If Chelsea wants to convince Sesko to choose Stamford Bridge over Arsenal and Champions League football, they will have to rely on their long-term plans for the team. But the Blues are getting better at squelching rival interest.

Tosin Adarabioyo has finally verbally agreed to join Chelsea despite being locked in negotiations with Newcastle for several weeks. He was persuaded that working under Enzo Maresca would be the best move for his career.

Chelsea has taken advantage of the center-back’s decision to extend his contract with Fulham in order to become a free agent and strengthen their defensive line. They also hope to increase their Profit and Sustainability Rules status through player sales.

Trevoh Chalobah may be offloaded as a result of Adarabioyo’s arrival, as the Blues have decided to sell some of their homegrown players for “pure profit.” Several elite Premier League clubs as well as several Serie A teams are showing interest in Chalobah.
