“Martinelli & Jesus At Risk Of Getting Benched” As Arsenal Set To Complete £70M Deal For Wonder Striker In The Next Couple of Days,

According to reports, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has discussed a possible transfer to the Emirates Stadium with Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.

With 30 goals in all competitions during his outstanding 2022–2023 season, the England international is widely regarded as being in the prime of his career.

However, Rashford’s season has been quite different this year, as the Manchester United forward has only scored eight goals in 43 games for Erik ten Hag’s team.

Rashford has faced criticism for his performances this season from fans, pundits, and former players who have called out his lack of effort and sometimes negative body language.

There have been speculations that Rashford, a forward for Manchester United, might join a different team in the summer. Some detractors believe the player would benefit from a change of scenery.

Chelsea, Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with a potential move for Rashford this summer but now reports have claimed that Arsenal could be an option.

Rashford and Arsenal manager Arteta are said to have spoken recently, with “interest on both sides,” but it is still unclear if Manchester United would be open to selling.

Rashford “could end his career as one of the great disappointments in the history of the English game,” according to Liverpool legend Graeme Souness, who also believes the Manchester United academy graduate ought to quit.

“Being a young starlet at Manchester United is harder than anywhere else,” Souness recently stated.

“They receive more praise, admiration, money, recognition, and everything else you could possibly want from Manchester United than they would from any other football team.

And I still believe that to be the case from when I was a player.

“He [Rashford] has not received any leadership from the management.” Consider how Fergie [Sir Alex Ferguson] handled Ryan Giggs and how he went on to become a global superstar.

“Who are the experienced athletes telling Marcus, ‘This is how we do it?'”

With all the talent he possesses, he could wind up being one of the biggest letdowns in English game history.

“I believe he has everything; his lack of a clinical finisher is the only thing you could argue against him. However, he’s had a few successful years, has electric pace, and can drop a shoulder.

“I’m not describing a top player; he scored 30 goals the previous year and seven goals in the Premier League so far.”

“He’s from Manchester, it’s his team, but for his improvement, I

think he should leave,” Souness continued.
