Kai Havertz sends clear Tottenham Hotspur message after Arsenal beat Manchester United

After his team defeated Manchester United on Sunday, Kai Havertz, an attacker for Arsenal, has stated he will become a fan of Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday evening.

The Gunners were aware of the pressure coming into this weekend’s match at Old Trafford after Manchester City took the lead in the Premier League on Saturday. Pep Guardiola’s team now leads the division by two points after defeating Fulham 4-0.

On Tuesday night at Spurs, anything less than a win would have given City the opportunity to win the Premier League for a record-tying fourth consecutive year. Havertz did, however, set up Leandro Trossard for the game’s lone goal as the Gunners defeated United to reclaim the top spot.

Arsenal is aware that they will hold the title on the final day and that a win will be sufficient to secure the championship should City lose to Tottenham in the middle of the week. If Guardiola’s team prevails, though, they will be the ones who understand that defeating West Ham United at home on the final day will guarantee their place in history.
