Following Man City and Arsenal's draw in a crucial Premier League match, fans have one grievance in common.

The scoreless match between Manchester City and Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium may have major ramifications for this season’s Premier League title contest.

With a goal differential advantage over Liverpool, Arsenal led the Premier League standings at the start of play.

But Liverpool’s 2-1 triumph over Brighton saw them take the top spot again, and Arsenal now has to defeat City to take the lead once more.

Nevertheless, there weren’t many scoring opportunities in the game—by the 80th minute, there had only been two shots on goal.

In the first half, Gabriel Jesus missed the post with a low effort for Arsenal, and late in the game, Leandro Trossard forced Stefan Ortega to make a save. But throughout the game, neither side was able to put the other goalkeepers to the test consistently.

A common grievance was voiced by numerous fans at Etihad Stadium after the final whistle.

“Watching this match is pure torture,” one person commented.

“Marginally better than the first half but still frustratingly dull,” a second person said.

Another person said, “So much hype for this.”

“I’m not sure either team deserves to win this,” remarked a fourth.

“These kinds of big games are typically built up, but in actuality they are usually boring because both teams are terrified of losing,” asserted a different fan.

With nine games left for all three teams this season, the result guarantees Arsenal’s lead over City in the Premier League table, but they now trail Liverpool by two points.

Arsenal will host Luton Town at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday in a rematch of their exciting 4-3 encounter earlier in the season. City’s next game is against Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium.

But Liverpool is the clear winner today, and they plan to keep up their lead in the title fight until the last day of play.
