This morning, Sky Sports broke very depressing news about an incident that occurred during international break training involving Erling Haaland.

After watching video of Manchester City’s striker clearly limping after a training session on Tuesday, questions were raised about his health.

The manager of City, Pep Guardiola, had sent Haaland back to Norway and warned his teammates to be cautious in their friendly matches this week because they would be playing tough competitions when they got back to Manchester.

Ola Sand, the team doctor for Norway, attempted to allay concerns regarding Haaland’s health, and the striker has since stated that he is not injured.

Before the friendly game, Haaland said to the media, “I’m feeling fine,” according to TV2. My training wasn’t missed. I’m not sure who made the report.

I took part in every minute of the training. I am prepared to participate in the game and feel good. Haaland will start for the game, according to manager Stale Solbakken, unless there are any unanticipated injuries.

As instructed by the Norwegian FA, Haaland’s main topic of conversation during the press conference was Norway.

When he was asked to compare fellow City player Kevin De Bruyne to fellow countryman and Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard, he did so politely and replied that he enjoyed playing with both players.

Haaland also offered a humorous anecdote regarding Guardiola’s parting statement, recalling how his manager had playful cautioned the City team not to come back from the break too tired.

The forward recalled, “He smiled and said, ‘If any of you come back not feeling fresh, I’ll come after you.'”
