NOW WE GO: After turning down a last-minute offer from Real Madrid, Kylian Mbappe has finally signed with Arsenal. The player will be introduced as the team's first summer acquisition while the paperwork is being finalized.

The reason why Kylian Mbappe, the standout player for Paris Saint-Germain, is interested in joining Arsenal is one guy.

In recent seasons, Mbappe has been closely associated with leaving Paris Saint-Germain.

But in 2022, the Frenchman pulled a last-minute U-turn and decided to sign a new contract with PSG rather than transfer to Spanish La Liga team Real Madrid.

Liverpool has emerged as the most credible and dangerous rival for Mbappe’s future at PSG, according to sources from last month.

But a lot of people have been speculating that Mbappe will move to Spain at the end of the 23–24 campaign.

According to The Independent, Mbappe would “voluntarily join” Arsenal.

The source claims that even when Mbappe’s larger group approached Liverpool last year, the Ligue 1 winners felt unloved, but Anfield management made no offer. All they wanted was for him to blow up their whole financial plan.

“That also raises legacy issues since it inspires players to emulate Thierry Henry. His job path has already been shaped by his fascination for history and legends.

Mbappe stated in January that he is “first and foremost, very, very, very motivated for this year” while discussing his future. It is really important. We have titles to pursue, as I mentioned earlier, and we have already won one, so that’s taken care of. I still haven’t decided what to do after that.

“Anyway, it doesn’t matter what the president does because of the agreement we made this summer. The most important thing is that we are able to protect everyone while keeping the club calm in the face of upcoming difficulties.
