“As a defender, I hate to play against a player like him, because whenever he has the ball, he’s too sharp and will never allow you to breathe even for a second with his unpredictable movements.” – Liverpool ace Konate names the Arsenal star who gave him a terrible time yesterday. Not Saka, Ødegaard, or Havertz.

When Arsenal played Liverpool on Sunday, Gabriel Martinelli’s determination to give Bukayo Saka an early opportunity amazed Gary Neville.

At the Emirates, Bukayo Saka broke the tie in the first half. The young person will understand, though, that he could have accomplished much more had he had more time.

On the left side, Gabriel Martinelli was brought on. Furthermore, Ibrahima Konate had to try to attack Martinelli because Trent Alexander-Arnold was out of position.

Gary Neville is astounded by Gabriel Martinelli’s speed.

But the Brazilian managed to outpace Liverpool’s center-back with every inch of his speed. Next, he sent in a superb cross into the six-yard box that Saka seemed to nudge in. Regretfully, Mikel Arteta headed the cross wide after making inadequate touch with it.

Gary Neville was taken aback by Martinelli’s capacity to present the home team with a chance.

“Martinelli creates very stunning work. How was Saka’s score so low? I don’t get why Trent Alexander-Arnold doesn’t run back with him when he gambles like this. However, he lets Konate handle things on her own. He tries, anyway. I have nothing more to say. He clarified, “Martinelli is incredibly quick because Konate is no slouch.”
