Thomas Partey joins the squad, David Raya is dropped, and Martinelli and Trosaard both start for Arsenal in a 4-2-3-1 formation against Nottingham Forest.

Arsenal hosts Nottingham Forest at City Ground tonight in an attempt to win the Premier League back-to-back.

Earlier this month, Arsenal defeated Crystal Palace 5-0 in the Premier League to get back to winning ways.

Although they currently trail leaders Liverpool by five points, they have a chance to cut the deficit to only two points.

The team needs to end a three-game losing streak at City Ground in order for this to occur.

Formation: 4-2-3-1.
Line-up:

David Raya had excellent distribution in the last Derby triumph. His incredible long pass to Gabriel Jesus set up Leandro Trossard for Arsenal’s third goal. It is expected that the Spaniard will stick in between the sticks.

It is unlikely that defense will change in any way. William Saliba should be joined by Gabriel Magalhaes in the middle of the backline, with Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko remaining as the right and left backs, respectively.

Gabriel had a slight knee injury against Palace late in the game, but we think he’ll be OK. If Declan Rice passes a late fitness test due to a muscle issue, he should continue to play at number six in the middle.

We think the record signing for the club might have moved on to someone else. Though Kai Havertz hasn’t been in contact lately, we’d choose Emile Smith Rowe; nonetheless, Arteta may choose Leandro Trossard at number eight.

Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka are lock to start as number ten and right wing, respectively. Leading the line should be Gabriel Jesus, with Gabriel Martinelli coming back on the left wing.

Due to a minor injury, Martinelli did not start the Derby earlier this month. Despite coming off the bench, he made a big difference by scoring two goals in stoppage time. The Brazilian is expected to start tonight against Forest.
