GOALLLLLLL: Bukayo Saka with overhead kick goal to make it 2-0 in favor of Arsenal

Arsenal will play Nottingham Forest at the City Ground tonight in an attempt to close the gap on league leaders Liverpool.

The team that last time out thrashed Crystal Palace 5-0 has seen two changes under Mikel Arteta. Aaron Ramsdale will once again have to make do with a bench position as David Raya stays in goal.

Takehiro Tomiyasu is out for the Asian Cup, but Ben White is still the starting right back. Gabriel Magalhaes has been cleared to play after overcoming an ankle ailment. In the Arsenal defense, the Brazilian plays with William Saliba. Oleksandr Zinchenko is still the left back, and Jacob Kiwior is still a substitute.

After scoring twice versus Palace off the bench, Gabriel Martinelli is called up. Bukayo Saka will stay on the right wing while Leandro Trossard will move to the side.

Eddie Nketiah will have to settle with a bench spot as the Gunners’ front-line leader, Gabriel Jesus. Jorginho and Reiss Nelson are also included for tonight’s bench.

Up front, Chris Wood is Forest’s major threat, but Morgan Gibbs-White may also be a menace when attacking. Matt Turner will start in goal against the side he used to play for.
