It looks like Arsenal may have at last found the striker who can give Mikel Arteta’s team the much-needed boost in goals come summertime.

The combination of Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah for Arsenal has simply not clicked this season.

The combination plays well in 90% of games, but their lack of a vicious goal-scoring instinct is always apparent.

It seems like Arteta’s side is caught in a loop where they fully believe the couple but then find out there’s a gap.

Even if each is a capable player in his own right, it seems as though they are too similar to be different when one is used in place of the other.

Furthermore, many think Nketiah will be transferred in the summer so Arsenal can sign a new striker because Jesus is the stronger of the two.

Having said that, Joshua Zirkzee will be the striker who can make a difference, according to recent claims made by the Italian publication La Gazzetta dello Sport.

On page 17 of their printed edition, La Gazzetta announced today that Arsenal will set aside €50 million (£43 million) to purchase Zirkzee this summer.
