“I honestly don’t to want him to join Arsenal because he going to smash so many records, a player of his qualities does not deserve a club like Arsenal”- Man United Rio Ferdinand confesses he doesn’t want ‘brilliant’ player to join Arsenal this summer as he envies the player’s immense talent and potential

“I genuinely don’t want him to sign with Arsenal because I know he will break a lot of records and a player with his caliber doesn’t belong at a team like Arsenal,” Man United Rio Ferdinand acknowledges that he envies the “brilliant” player’s extraordinary talent and potential and says he doesn’t want the player to sign with Arsenal this summer.

Rio Ferdinand, a Sky Sports pundit and former Manchester United defender, has stated that he would prefer Brentford’s excellent midfielder Ivan Toney to remain with the team instead of going to Arsenal or Chelsea in the current January transfer window. Ferdinand highlighted the superiority of Toney’s abilities and the favorable effect he may have on Brentford’s performance on his podcast. Ferdinand thinks a transfer for Toney at this stage of the season is improbable, despite speculations connecting him to Arsenal.

After reports on December 30 suggested that the Gunners were interested in signing the 27-year-old striker, the rumors around Toney’s possible transfer to Arsenal grew more intense. Toney is apparently a top target for Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, who believes Stuart Pearce would be a great addition to the squad. Ferdinand hopes Brentford keeps the striker for the remainder of the season, but he is pessimistic about the possibility of this transfer.
