Brentford Striker Ivan Toney has been sighted in Arsenal’s medical facility today, ahead of his likely transfer to Arsenal – announcement today after rejecting a bid from Chelsea.

Ivan Toney is getting ready to make a significant comeback in football. The striker for Brentford hasn’t appeared on the field since his eight-month suspension for gambling offenses in mid-May.

After entering a guilty plea to 232 charges relating to gambling, Toney was suspended by the NFL. The striker anticipates playing for the Bees on January 20 against Nottingham Forest after his suspension ends this month.

But the ban hasn’t stopped people from making assumptions about him, especially about where he’ll play football when he gets back. Only Erling Haaland and Harry Kane scored more goals in the Premier League last season than Toney did.

Brentford has placed a £100 million price tag on him because they know they will have fierce competition to keep him at the Gtech Community Stadium when this season ends.

Both Chelsea and Arsenal, who both require a potent striker, have been connected to a January transfer.

During their FA Cup third-round match against Liverpool on Sunday afternoon at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal’s problems were clearly visible. Liverpool had 12 shots, three of which were on target, but they lost 2-0 to the Gunners, who had 18 shots, five of which were on target.

Although Toney is the talk of the town, he hinted that there won’t be a transfer this month in his first post-suspension interview with Sky Sports and our friends at the Mirror.

“Toney made the last-minute decision to go back to Slovenia in the future,” he stated. I sincerely appreciate their support, especially the fans. They helped me out right away as well. I therefore have much to give back.

Toney will remain in west London until the end of the season because he has a lot to give back. It is anyone’s guess as to what comes next.
