With two shots on target that resulted in goals (the third shot was a penalty that David Raya stopped), David Moyes’ team made the most of their 26% of possession to end Arsenal’s home unbeaten streak and get closer to the top spot in the Premier League.

With this result, the leader moves two points clear of Arsenal in second place on the table. Aston Villa may pass them to share the lead, but City has a game left to play and could catch up to Arsenal in points.

Conversely, West Ham moves two points clear of their nearest rival, Manchester United, and reduces the gap to three points for the European spots as a result of Spurs’ defeat.
