Two West Ham starters will miss the match against Arsenal!

When Arsenal’s team faced Liverpool for top spot in the Premier League (PL) last time out, they proved resilient and came away with a 1-1 draw at Anfield. As a result, the Gunners started Christmas Day in first place. Nayef Aguerd and Michail Antonio won’t be playing today!

The team led by Mikel Arteta will next host West Ham, a rival team in London, at the Emirates Stadium in an attempt to get a head start on the chasing group. They appear to be in a good position to accomplish that, having won seven of their two home league games this season (W7, D2), scored twenty-two goals, and only lost one of their previous sixteen home meetings since 2007.

But West Ham’s away performance has been a little off lately; in their last two road games, David Moyes’ team has given up exactly five goals. Michail Antonio is one of the players who will miss the match!

Players to keep an eye on: Martin Ødegaard of Arsenal has scored seven goals this season in all competitions. His team has won six of his seven goal scoring appearances; the only defeat came in the League Cup against West Ham. Following his assist against Manchester United the previous game, Lucas Paquetá has now contributed to four straight goals for West Ham in the Premier League.
