This is Arteta’s plan to beat Liverpool!

Mikel Arteta acknowledges the difficulty of Arsenal’s 12-year winless streak at Anfield ahead of their crucial match against Liverpool. Arteta highlights the need for Arsenal to perform better on the field despite leading the Premier League, pointing to the 2-2 draw between the two teams from the previous season as evidence of the difficult challenges Arsenal faces when playing in Liverpool’s backyard. In an effort to buck the trend, Arteta is pushing his group to put on a stronger showing in order to win a crucial game.

He continued, “We have done it at Old Trafford, Stamford Bridge, and many other places where we haven’t done it in years. “The next task is this one. Proceed there and triumph. You have to go there and be dominant if you want to be at the top. That is our intended course of action.

Before the match against Liverpool, Arteta said, “You have to play better than them.” As in any other arena, if you are superior to them and dominate the crowd, you will silence them. Nothing about it is different.

“We must endure suffering. Every game involves suffering, and it’s important to see how you two handle these times together. What matters most is how you handle those situations. We experienced those moments in the second half of last year’s game and faced some challenges in moving past them.

“You have to be able to turn those moments around and return to the desired state of the game because they extended for an excessively long time.”
