As we prepare for a two-week break from club football due to the international break, Arsenal manager MĖkel Arteta has several of his key players out injured. Arsenal also has a number of injury concerns heading into the international break. Last weekend, the north London team defeated Burnley 3-1 thanks to goals from Oleksandr Zinchenko, Willam SalĖba, and Leandro Trossard.

However, they started the match without their first-choice right-back, Ben Wright, as the England international became the most recent Gunners player to be added to an extensive injury list. Among those recently dismissed are MartĖn Odegaard, Thomas Partey, Gabriel Jesus, Emile SmĖth Rowe, and JurrĂen Thompson. Naturally, the two-week break before the club’s match against Brentford later this month will allow some of those players to heal.

With everything said and done, football.london has compiled the most recent injury updates from the Emirates Stadium below.

Jorgіnho

On Saturday, Jorginho was the target of some daring challenges. He was taken off as a precaution so that his bruises and cuts could be dressed.

Expected return date: Brentford (A) – November 25

What Arteta said: “I believe he had a few bad cuts, which prevented them from being able to treat them on the patch, so they decided to remove them. I hope he’s fine. I believe he performed admirably today. I am extremely pleased with the way this man is leading, coaching, and encouraging the team in all aspects.

Injury: Unknown
Expected return date: Brentford (A) – November 25

What Arteta said: “He wasn’t at ease yesterday when he was translating.” He didn’t appear right. Ben, though, won’t give you much. His constant desire is to be on the patch and hide anything that is there.

However, we also noticed something that we had not noticed in the previous two weeks happening there. Today, we wished to keep him safe. It was the right call from the medical and physical departments, and we will evaluate them and determine what’s going on tomorrow.

Takehіro Tomіyasu

A problem with his eyeglasses occurred for Tomiyasu during Arsenal’s victory over Burnley. Still, he seems genuine.

Injury: Eye

Arteta stated: “He had a problem with his lens, but other than that, he was excellent and gave a very good performance.”

Thomas Partey

Football.london understands that Partey has undergone a “procedure” that will keep him out until the end of the season.

Arteta has stated: “We anticipate him to be out for a few weeks due to a muscle injury.” He has more tests today, so we’re not sure how bad it is. He received that injury while running, with the final kick of the ball. Very regrettable. Tuesday is his next appointment, and more information will be provided then.

This season, Smith Rowe has been unlucky with injuries, spending this time tending to a knee issue. He was left out of the matchday roster for last weekend’s match against the Clarets as well.

Gabrіel Jesus

In the Champions League match against Sevilla, Gabriel Jesus performed admirably, scoring a goal and offering assistance. However, there was cause for concern when he appeared to strain his hamstring late in the game. With ten minutes remaining, EddĖe NketĖah took his place.

Arteta’s statement: “Huge blow.” Particularly for him having recently joined the club. It is a great blow to have the injury he has. It’s for the team because we recruited him with very specific expectations, and he was bringing exceptional talent to the team, something he won’t be able to continue doing for us this season. We must change. These things regrettably occur, and we must move on.
