“His performance was nothing short of brilliant. He won 14 duels, and was everywhere on the pitch, he deserves more credit”- Arsenal icon Patrick Vierra was full of hypes for sensational Arsenal star who was better than Trossard- Not Saka, Not Martinelli and not Saliba

“His performance was absolutely amazing.” He deserved more recognition because he was everywhere on the field and won 14 duels.- Patrick Vierra, the legend of Arsenal, was all over the amazing player at Arsenal who was superior to Trossard—not Saka, Martinelli, or Saliba.

Against Burnley, Arsenal’s “everywhere” player outperformed Trossard.

The Premier League’s second-place team, led by Mikel Arteta, defeated the resolute Burnley team.

With a resilient performance against Burnley at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal got back to winning ways in the Premier League, winning 3-1 in spite of the visitors’ determined efforts.

Arsenal tied the league leaders Manchester City, who play Chelsea tomorrow, on points after losing to Newcastle United on Tyneside the previous week. Goals from Leandro Trossard, William Saliba, and Oleksandr Zinchenko gave Arsenal three points today.

Eddie Nketiah filled in up front for Gabriel Jesus, who has now missed the last three Premier League games due to a hamstring injury. However, Trossard was selected to start in place of Nketiah today following his “anonymous” appearance against the Magpies.

Leandro Trossard’s performance versus Burnley

Before the Belgian found the back of the net shortly before halftime, Burnley’s disciplined defense thwarted much of Arsenal’s attacking attempts. Trossard’s dynamism was crucial in breaking through their defense.

Just prior to the hour mark, Trossard enhanced his goal with a brilliant assist when his looping corner found Saliba’s head. In just seven starting appearances across all competitions this season, he now has six goals and two assists.

The 28-year-old made two crucial passes, won four duels, had 51 touches, hit the crossbar, and completed 79% of his passes, according to Sofascore.

In his post-match player evaluations, Kaya Kaynak, the Arsenal correspondent for Football.london, gave the star an 8 out of 10, noting that he “seems to draw the best out of those around him when he plays up top.” Martinelli is more relaxed, and he has a great relationship with Saka. Another goal and an assist are in store for today.

Though Zinchenko’s all-around performance for the home team was excellent, it wasn’t the best performance by any of Arteta’s players that evening.

Statistics for Burnley vs. Oleksandr Zinchenko

The Ukrainian sensation, who cost £32 million to sign with Arsenal from Manchester City last year, has played a key role in many of the team’s victories even though he hasn’t always been healthy.

Zinchenko was the real engine driving the entire match, and even though the victory over the Clarets wasn’t a standout performance, it did show that Arsenal can win.

The £150k-per-week left-back, who was dubbed “everywhere today” by Gunners writer Connor Humm, scored a fantastic goal to complete the victory after Saliba had given the team a second-half advantage.

Though he took 116 touches, completed 87% of his passes, won 14 duels, made two crucial passes, completed all seven of his long ball attempts, and made five tackles, his heroics went far beyond just his goal-scoring contribution.

Trossard and Zinchenko received high marks from Kaynak, who said, “One wonderful flick to clear space for Bukayo Saka in the first half.” Arsenal scored their third goal with just as much accuracy.
