“He really surprised me when we played Sevilla in the UCL, and I can’t wait to watch him again this weekend against Burnley.”- Legend of Manchester United Rio Ferdinand showered praise on the “underrated” Arsenal star, who earns £110,000 per week, for accomplishing a feat that none of the Manchester United players—Saka, Mot Martinelli, or Trossard—can match.

Rio Ferdinand asserts that the Arsenal player has successfully accomplished something that very few people can.

Jorginho, an Arsenal midfielder, received high marks from Rio Ferdinand for his performance in the Gunners’ Wednesday night opener against Sevilla.

The pundit thinks that the veteran Arsenal player is unmatched by many players when it comes to defense-splitting passes.

Anxious to return to winning ways and secure a second victory over Sevilla this season, Arsenal dominated the opening exchange of their Champions League encounter.

With a brilliant through-ball for Bukayo Saka in the 29th minute, Jorginho completely opened up the opposing defense.

Leandro Trossard slid home the ball after the forward placed it on a platter to give the Gunners the lead.

“Jorginho’s pass is the only factor in that goal.”

Ferdinand was quick to commend Jorginho for his through-ball, which led to the goal and the elimination of no fewer than six Sevilla players.

At the half, Ferdinand said on TNT Sports, “Very few people can execute” the type of ball that Jorginho created for the goal.

Matthew Upson stated, “That goal really is about that pass from Jorginho to unlock the Sevilla defense,” on BBC Sport’s Radio 5 Live program.

Gabriel Martinelli threaded the ball through for Saka, who cut inside, outran his defender, and curled the ball in at the 64th minute.

Jorginho performed admirably, and his outstanding help for the first goal was the cherry on top.

The £110,000-a-week Arsenal star (Salarysport) may not be able to win over everyone at the Emirates, but it’s in these kinds of matches that he really shines.

A great addition to the Arsenal team is Jorginho. The young Gunners team benefits from the Italy international’s talent as well as his abundance of experience and leadership.
