Thomas Partey’s persistent injury issues have made many Arsenal supporters more irate with the player.

The most recent injury, which is expected to sideline the Arsenal midfielder for several weeks, was disclosed by Mikel Arteta.

During his tenure at Emirates Stadium, Partey’s unfortunate injury trend has turned into the standard.

Since his £45 million summer 2020 transfer from Atletico Madrid, he has experienced significant injury layoffs, and these are happening more frequently.

Since entering the game late in a match against Manchester City, the Ghanaian has only made four Premier League appearances this season and hasn’t appeared on the field for the North London club.

There is no denying Partey’s talent as a superb midfield player when he is healthy and playing well. However, his fitness issues have grown so prevalent that they are now a burden for the club. Arteta might want to think about letting go of Partey.

Thomas Partey’s sale is currently being demanded by a large number of Arsenal fans. On social media, one fan angrily wrote, “Get him out of my club,” while another expressed shock at Partey’s injury history and called him “absolutely class but made of glass.” These posts reflect their discontent.

“Time to sell, hopefully it happens as soon as January,” is one of the requests made by some fans for the team to sell Partey as soon as possible. Another fan writes, “I was saying this in the summer window,” expressing the opinion that Arteta made a mistake in not releasing Partey sooner. He is unreliable, and we ought to have taken advantage of him.

The lack of usage Arteta has received from Partey this season is undoubtedly concerning, especially in light of the approaching African Cup of Nations.

Assuming he is physically fit, Partey will be called up to represent his nation at the function. Given his track record of fitness and salary demands, finding a buyer for the player could prove challenging even if Arsenal were willing to sell.
