Napoli director responds to Victor Osimhen rumours amidst Arsenal’s interest

Victor Osimhen has been linked to Arsenal in the past few weeks, and some pundits think a transfer might happen in the January transfer window. Osimhen is regarded as one of the best attackers in the world and is not likely to sign a contract extension with Napoli.

Osimhen and Napoli’s contract talks have come to a standstill, which leaves open the prospect of his exit in January. Securing such a move, though, might prove to be a difficult undertaking.

“There’s no doubt that we’ll meet to discuss whether and how to step in. The president and Osimhen’s entourage are scheduled to meet in the coming weeks. It’s a component of the game, and it takes some thought to consider.
