Mikel Arteta isn’t happy with the condition but Arsenal Sporting Director doesn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to sign the world class striker

An entry point into a transaction featuring one of the deadliest strikers in the world appears to have been offered to Arsenal.

Victor Osimhen, a sensation for Napoli, may be traded to Arsenal, but there would be a price to pay, according to rumors. After holding off on signing a striker during the previous summer transfer window, at least in terms of a pure goalscorer, the Gunners are predicted to be on the market for one in either January or next summer.

Although Kai Havertz was signed as a backup forward option, Arteta opted to keep Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus instead. That might not be the case, though, come January or the following summer, since Arsenal will probably need a goalscorer if they want to dominate the big competitions.

Osimhen, the star from Napoli, is rumored to be leaving the club next summer after an altercation with club officials.

After being made fun of on the club’s TikTok channel, Osimhen decided to investigate legal options, albeit nothing concrete has been done as of yet. Osimhen has continued to play for Napoli during this time, but it has been stated that the Italian team intends to offload him next summer after asking well over £100 million from any and all interested parties.

On one condition, which Arteta might not be ready to satisfy, Calciomercato reports that Napoli might be open to trading Osimhen to Arsenal next summer. Given that Arsenal only paid £50 million for Jesus and that Osimhen is worth more than £100 million, Napoli reportedly wants to include Gabriel Jesus in the transaction as well as a sizeable transfer fee.

Jesus has been a key component of Arteta’s strategy ever since he arrived at the Emirates Stadium, so even if it meant gaining one of the top goal scorers in the world, he might be reluctant to consent to such a deal. Ivan Toney, who is eager to leave Brentford after his gambling ban passes this winter, has been linked to a January deal to Arsenal.
