As well as the return of Premier League football this weekend, there’s plenty going on elsewhere around the club this week – here is everything you can expect over the course of the next seven days:
Women’s training camp
On Monday, our women’s squad will start a training camp at the Herzogenaurach, Germany, headquarters of adidas.
Despite defeating Linkoping FC 3-0 in the Women’s Champions League first qualifying round in Sweden on Wednesday, Jonas Eidevall’s Gunners were eliminated from the competition by Paris FC on Sunday. Now the focus is on getting ready for the Barclays Women’s Super League, which kicks off on Sunday, October 1 at Emirates Stadium against Liverpool.
Starting with Takehiro Tomiyasu in Japan’s friendly matchup versus Turkey, several of our players might be involved in international competition on Tuesday.
While Eddie Nketiah, Aaron Ramsdale, Declan Rice, and Bukayo Saka will be aiming to be involved in England’s friendly matchup against Scotland in Glasgow, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Martin Odegaard, David Raya, Leandro Trossard, and Karl Hein might all be in UEFA Euro 2024 qualification action for their countries.
As Germany plays France in a friendly game in Dortmund, Kai Havertz and William Saliba may face off.
Brazil plays Peru in a World Cup qualifying match in Lima at 3 a.m. (BST). Gabriel, who made his Selecao debut on Friday, might make a second appearance. Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus are also in the team.
Mikel Arteta’s pre-Everton press conference (1.30pm)
Prior to our away game against Everton on Friday afternoon, Mikel Arteta will have a pre-game press conference.
On Arsenal.com and the official app, live coverage will be accessible. Following the event, a comprehensive recap of everything that happened will be released.
