Four Man City players was out of the list in England U21 squad for European Championship

The England Under-21 team now includes Cole Palmer, Tommy Doyle, Taylor Harwood-Bellis, and James Trafford.

The Young Lions will compete in the 2018 European Under-21 Championship with the four members of Manchester City, as chosen by manager Lee Carsley. The competition begins in Romania and Georgia the next week.

Despite being placed in a difficult Group C containing Germany, the Czech Republic, and Israel, England will be hopeful that their quality team, which is rife with Premier League experience, will allow them to advance to the knockout stages.

City is well-represented, although only forward Cole Palmer, who has been with Pep Guardiola’s team the entire season, has been called up. The three others had productive seasons while they were on loan in the Football League.

The England Under-21 team has called up James Trafford, Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Cole Palmer, and Tommy Doyle.

The Young Lions will be represented by the Manchester City quartet at the 2017 European Under-21 Championship, according to manager Lee Carsley. Next week, the tournament begins in Georgia and Romania.

With Germany, the Czech Republic, and Israel in their difficult Group C, England will be optimistic of making it to the knockout rounds thanks to their strong roster loaded with Premier League experience.

Trafford played the entire season with League One club Bolton Wanderers, where he amassed the most shutouts in the league as the Trotters advanced to the play-offs but were defeated by Barnsley in the semifinals. The goalkeeper has been connected to a Premier League move due to his strong performances.

James McAtee, who also had a strong season at Bramall Lane, and Rico Lewis, who had a breakthrough season in the City first team, are both unexpectedly absent.
