At the age of 41, Zlatan Ibrahimovic leaves the game of football.

Football player Zlatan Ibrahimovic has announced his retirement.

The 41-year-old striker rejoined AC Milan in 2019 for a second stint, although due to injury, he only appeared four times in 2022–2023.

After Milan’s 3-1 victory over Verona, he revealed that he was quitting the club and finishing his playing career after being moved to tears while bidding the Milan fans farewell prior to the game.

The former Swedish striker had a standout career, winning 13 league championships in four different nations and tallying 62 goals in 122 international matches.

Prior to joining Ajax in 2001, Ibrahimovic began his professional career with Malmo in Sweden. Throughout his career, he had good runs with each team he was a part of, routinely scoring for Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester United. and LA Galaxy.
